Well..I’m gonna be the bahumbug one over here…it isn’t so much the actual songs that drive me crazy it is the month and half of nothing but Chrismas songs on the radio…Every holiday I revert to Cds to avoid the overkill it causes me…if I stuck to the radio I’d hate all of them by the end of the holiday season! I wait till the fam is around and we play them when we do things like decorating for the holidays, fixing dinner for the holidays, and of course Christmas Eve and Chrismas morning…but that is it…and for the most part..they are old fashioned songs…not the “new” version of Jingle bells but the “old” versions 
Like I said before I finially grew up and I use Christmas to remember the past (goods and wonders of course) and save the new and amazings of tomorrow for TOMORROW!!! Ok…sorry about all that…I’m not a negative person…really…ask the hubby…but this prompt managed to hit one of my pet peeves!
All that said…ignore my opinion of holiday music and enjoy the cheer all around Happy holidays everyone!
You are no Scrooge in my eyes! I’m not the biggest fan of Christmas music either. I feel the same way you do.
I have to disagree (although I certainly see your point and don’t think you’re a Scrooge), but hubby has made it a rule that I’m not allowed to start the Xmas music until after Thanksgiving…before we were married, it started for me much earlier than that!!
