Ok…so I was soooo excited yesterday about getting the new scrapbook supplies all to have my bubble burts when I went to download them into utter CHAOS!!! I had folder upon folder of downloaded files, some unzipped and organized, most not, and of course I hadn’t downloaded them all to the same darn file much less the same drive! :( HORRIBLE! Soooo…before I would let myself download my new ones…I had to reorganize it all! So…I took all the zipped files I could find and redumped them into a file called “to be done” for the time being. Then I created my new structure..

Structure done…I’m off to organize!! I got them all sorted by Vendor then started…and yes only started on splitting them up by artist…now mind you I have homework I have to do and I realize this is going to take forever…so I have some split and move the rest into a folder again named to do for later…
Then I go find all the folders I had, yet again EVERYWHERE, that I’d unzipped and organized and made sure I had the zips for each one and if not copied that folder to the corrosponding artist/kit…wow!!! Everything in one place several hours later..and I have 30 gig of scrap stuff!!! and we all know I haven’t even remotely used any of it…much less remember what I have.. but that is a whole nother ball game…to be continued later…
I then wiped out my unzipped stuff because it too was horrible..jacked up names, wrong places…the whole nine yards..it would be easier to just unzip them again the right way!!!! Well in the midst of deleting the unzipped folders I found picture folders in scrap supply folders….good heavens WHAT WAS I THINKING!!! Um apparhently I WASN’T!!!! Sooooo now I have to tackle the picture orginizing…and it is about time seeing as how I can’t find anything!!! I had the cutest pictures of Savannah on her new motorized little barbie motercycle…and of course I have to scrap that…but could I find them…NOPE!!! Soo…by the time I dumped them all into a to do file it was 11…and darn it I had to watch “Wall Street” for class! The pictures are gonna have to wait…but I will get there!
Maybe I’ll tackle some of it next week..my little girl won’t be around so it will be WAY WAY quiet…we will see…and ohhhh lord I’m gonna have to rename all this stuff!!!! Daunting you say…YEP!!! But I did find a little program that might help me make it a little easier..it is called Better File Rename for Windows And yes…for you Mac lovers (I’m working on converting…one day) They have a Mac version…Well I’m off to file land at work and lunch soon!!!!!
