2!! I finished 2!!!

Ok…so I did the majority of the work on both yesterday but I had to get pictures and tweak them today :):) ohhhh I’m soooo tickled I can scrap!!! I’ve missed it!!

The first one is one I did for my CT with Banner Woman!! This kit rocks girlie!!!

This next one was originally created for one of Christina Renee’s Challenges…TheCRAZY list one! Well I worked hard on it and I can’t stand to spend time on something I’m not going to print…soooo I tweeked it a bit…took out some stuff and poof…here it is!!

And Hals for your benifit…the writing around all of it..that would be the lyrics to Twist and Shout!! Just sooooo fitting!!! And on this one..two of the kits I used aren’t available..most of the buttons, and the sunflower are part of Stacey Jewell Stahl’s Tapestry Page Kit that isn’t available anymore! Shame cause it rocks!!! And the background paper was from Jennilyn designs Grunge Boi again a shame it isn’t available anywhere!!!

Well I think that is enough enabling and way more layouts than I thought I’d get done!!! I’m a slow scrapper so I’m very pleased with myself!!!

Just life…

Wow…it is Tuesday! And to boot…it is the 19th! That only leaves us two weeks and two weekends to finish up all that painting!!!! Yesterday was a whirl wind, after I got off work went and got monkey, went home, fed the animals, changed and you guessed it..went to paint!! Got the guest bedroom trimmed out and the walls coated with the first coat…but this one def. is gonna take more than 1! It is a bright ugly blue under a really pretty yellow…of course the actual name is Belgian Waffle…doesn’t exactly scream yellow to me but that is the color SWEAR!! Painted till about 10 pm then went back home…Robbie got monkey ready for bed and wowsers..I SCRAPPED!!!! I really found the time to play!!! I needed to do some layouts for my CT’s pronto! Well…1 down..only about 4 to go!!! And I kinda got this one done…as you can see there isn’t a preview in this post, this would be because it is done other than the pictures I need! You see I started the layout is a tom boy theme in mind, boys, yadda yadda yadda…see the Kit I was using (at least most of it)

But alas…it didn’t turn out boyish at all…I went shoes!! :):) Yep gave it my grunge yet bling girly flair! I plan on grabbing the pictures I need to finish it tonight after work so I’ll post my shoe masterpiece soon promise… So needless to say I was up till about midnight..that is really really sad considering I was scrap lifting a layout! You’d think I was creating everything from scratch! I also plan on working on the rest of my surprise tonight after some more painting!! I have decided that this designing you own stuff business can be fun, frustratin, and down right scary sometimes…but you know me…love roller coasters and this is definitely up there on the scale of 1-10 of thrills!! And of course designing means learning…I took my first baby steps into the land of Adobe Illustrator last night as well…But I can honestly say by the time I left the program all I could think was WOW did I really do that!!! So yep…just wait…some of what I thought would be trials and tribulations turned into keepers!! They make it into my little surprise…who am I kidding…of course they are gonna be!!

On the non scraping front, more of my life..We went to Kohl’s the other day (mom and I) For a necessity (bras) and of course left with more! Mind you not much more but still more than what we went for! What was it…flip flops!!! Yep I’m addicted..These are just tooo cute…they are white (I know..what was I thinking..we will see how long they stay that color) With red and blue stars on the sole Yep Americana! They will sooo be in the Shoes layout I’d show ya picture but it isn’t on the web…they were one of those in the middle of the isle random things..Well that is all for now…I have work to do! Well wow!! It is Monday!!! The weekend flew by! I did a ton of painting and by golly I’m soooo tickled SCHOOL is OUT!!!! Done…that means more scrap time!!!
